REGISTRATION & REFUND POLICY

Registration Fees

Early Registration: $350
Late Registration: $400 (after September 5, 2022)
Guest Registration: $250 Guest registration includes all conference meals, the dinner excursion and the networking reception.
Late Guest Registration: $300 (after September 5, 2022)

Registration is online via the University of Rhode Island learning management system. Registrants must create an account using a valid email address and professional license number. If you do not have a pharmacy license number, a driver’s license or other ID number can be used. 

Upon completion of your registration, guests please email your name and the primary registrant’s name to pharmce@etal.uri.edu.

Refund Policy

Registration fees, subject to a $50 processing fee, will be refunded provided email notification is sent to pharmce@etal.uri.edu at least seven days before the program.

LOCATION & RESERVATIONS

The in-person program will be held at the Hotel Viking, One Bellevue Avenue, Newport, RI.


A special rate of $259 per night plus tax has been arranged for rooms at The Hotel Viking. This cost is not included in the registration fee, and each attendee will be responsible for making his/her own accommodation arrangements. This rate is available until September 5, 2022.

Parking: Valet Parking only is available at a special discount of twenty dollars ($20.00) per car per night. Day valet rates are available at ten dollars ($10.00) per car, per day. There is no parking garage or on-street parking.

Attire: Business casual attire is appropriate for this meeting. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended as the Hotel Viking is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Newport.

Agenda and Accreditation

A picture containing text, clipart  Description automatically generated The University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians can earn up to 4.5 contact hours (0.45 ceus) of CE credit.

All participants will have the opportunity to review the educational sessions and speakers and to identify future educational needs. Program attendees can earn Continuing Education (CE) credits for this program by electronically logging onto the website: www.uripharmacycpd.org/student,inserting the activity specific access codes, and successfully completing the activity learning assessment and program evaluation form.
